Where exactly do you think the billions that are necessary are going to come from? The Parish of Orleans is bankrupt. The State of Louisiana doesn't have the cash. The insurance companies don't have an obligation to pay for broken levees. But the USA needs our port and the oil and gas. And Minn., where you live, would be in trouble pronto if your farmers couldn't export their grain. Bunge and Cargill up the creek, no paddle. What's your suggestion? I'm all ears. Maybe Neil Young and Willie Nelson will put on a couple of concerts.
