Yes, indeed!

Dark beer, dark red wine... all have flavinoids that are very good for you (tasty too).

Only, for the OH content of the drinks, the 'medical buzz' is very mixed:

Moderate drinking... promotes relaxation, lowered blood pressure, longer life, etc.

On the other-hand... OH metabolizes into aldehydes --- proven to accelerate the growth of cancers, and the OH itself is supposed to cross the blood/brain barrier and kill brain cells with every drink.

And, of course, *excessive* or binge drinking is way bad.

(For my part, I do enjoy. And generally the darker and more flavorful the drink [beer/wine/bourbon] the better. :)

Vodka is for wussies and frat boys and Russians.... <GGG>
