Good point. If all were actually going to be saved there would be no reason to try to even be good. Why? Eat, drink, and worse and don't worry....we're all in!

As with most of the ancient heresies that the enemy of God alan w spews, the doctrine of the reconciliation of all things was espoused and made famous by Origen almost 18 centuries ago. It is a very ancient heresy.

Origen's false teachings were condemned at the Fifth Ecumenical Synod, 553 a.d., which was attended by 165 Orthodox bishops.
