Both Presbyterian and Lutheran denominations belong to this organization. Wander around here if you're curious about the Christian left. ncccusa.org

Well, I'm a Presbyterian, and attend the church Karen Hughes attends in Austin, LOL.. Talk about name dropping, I'm going to a party at their house next week. Big time, baby. Presbys are not liberal per se. They are split, as votes over ordination of gays reflect. It's not quite so simple Kholt, lol. But I know something about it, if you are curious. Our neighbors are Presbyterian and they drive miles past our church to get to the "liberal" Presbyterian church downtown, University Presbyterian, located near UT. The Presbyterian seminary here in Austin is relatively liberal. I've taken some classes there (got A's so far, even in religious pluralism!!!!). Maybe the season can justify such blatant religious discussion...LOL
