Well, he DID say they were going into houses in the dead of night, terrorizing women and children. Sounds to me like he's calling them terrorists - i.e. one who terrorizes.

But hey, he didn't call 'em "baby killers." Shows he's grown more nuanced since his Vietnam protest days. ;-)

He obviously meant "terrorizing" as in scaring. One does not need to argue over whether or not having your home and safety breached by people with weapons and speaking in a foreign tongue in the darkness of night is or is not frightening.

However, his words were perhaps ill considered. "kids and children"--language is obviously a mysterious arena for him to wander around in...
