The difference is that most of the people in the red states (that people in the blue states seem to think are so poor) don't think of themselves as poor. What good is being rich if you still think of yourself as poor and can only concentrate on the fact that some other guy has so much more than you? I've never seen so many unhappy rich white people as those in the blue states these days.

I know that if the gubbment truly won the war on drugs - lots of those rednecks I know that are happily passing the days away on their crystal meth intake would probably be very motivated to do riots chinese style. Perhaps being such a rich country with so many mind altering substances flowing through our nation is all that is keeping it together eh? I have seen some of my redneck friends when they couldn't get thier meth or beer - they were prone to violent acts with weapons and such. 20 years ago there just seemed to be a lot less drugs flowing. Listen at this - I was out of town visiting some friends - I got an ingrown hair - went to a walk in doc to get a scrip for some antibiotics to help with the sore - indian doctor - he said on my form I said I took no drugs or alcohol - I said that is right doc - he said you are probably lying - if not - you are the only person in the entire county that doesn't do drugs and alcohol (sigh) - BHWAHAHA! I said doc has it really gotten that bad, he was not smiling Vosilla, he said yes - I see from your weight you must be eating the dunkin donuts instead of the heroin and crystal meth - I said yah doc - I can't afford those good drugs - taking the sugar drug for now. Pathetic Vosilla - I am the last person in the county still on dunkin donuts sugar highs while everyone else around is in a drug induced happy place - hehe.
