The majority of leased vehicles get turned back with higher mileage than the leasee intended. If, on the rare occasion you get one with lower mileage, it would then be sold for a premium on the preowned lot. That is, only, after it has undergone a complete inspection for certification. As far as preowned certification, most manufacturers have a 125 to 150 point checklist for preowned certification. In the case of Audi and Volkswagen the checklist is over 300 points. Personally, I feel Audi and VW are one of your best purchases as a Certified PreOwned vehicle.
