The PBS stations often run BBC World news in the evening - at least I think they did the last time I was in the DC area in 2004. Check the schedule around 7pm.

DirecTV subscribers can get the BBC America channel which should have it more often.

I get CNN and BBC on our satellite package and rarely click on CNN at all. Their Sunday Late Edition is about all I have seen that motivates me to switch once a week.
