That's what some analysts do: predict something and stick to it for years. Fitz comes to mind. Either the prediction comes true or else everyone forgets about it after years.

The only thing better is to predict something that has already happened, like chip sales for the year 2005 :)

And, if you're an analyst, always say that such and such 'does not surprise' you. That establishes how prescient you are.
