Bob, Since the SOX is a "price weighted" index, the stock value determines its place in the index. KLAC was the leader for a long time, but recently it has been displaced by MRVL, now trading at 59+ as I write this note. KLAC is in 2nd place, now trading at 52+, with BRCM in 3rd place, trading at 49+.
