Poll: Most say Bush has no Iraq victory plan

Someone should ask what is victory in this mess?

I think you just answered the reason for Bush doesn't have a victory plan.

I find it curious that the two people most critical of the Bush administration during Katrina, Brian Williams and Anderson Cooper, both did puff pieces yesterday on either the president or Iraq joining Time's recently announced Man of the Year award to Bush. The coincidental timing of the three I find extraordinary. Were the GOP corporate heads of those companies worried about Bush's low ratings? Did they think he needed a boost before they got too low?

Adding to the excitement were the interesting facts we learned. Surprise, surprise.........Bush does read the news services in spite of what he said two years ago, and that while electricity and water are in constant short supply, the people of Iraq are happier now that they are free.

So what's the important takeaway here.......Bush was joshing us two years ago? Iraqi prefer freedom to creature comforts? The American press is not free? Take your pick.
