Speaking of Yanacocha (Newmont's gold project in Peru.
I understand that during their "due diligence" phase, Newmont utilized a new geo-physical exploration tool that they developed just for Yanacocha on the La India ground. Rumor has it that results were very good and that they were a "mirror image" of Yanacocha.

Having said, the Newmont boys are no dummies and I am pretty sure they know what they are doing and that they know a good prospect when they see one. Going back to an earlier comment made by famed newsletter writer Paul Van EeEden, "if it's good enough for Newmont then it's good enough for me". He said this at a conference just after he took down part of a GYD private placement.>>>>>>>>>

I had also heard that NEM has some whiz bang proprietary gold hunting gizmo or system. Let's see what happens.
