"A basic tenet of journalism is balanced news coverage which fairly presents multiple sides of an issue."

"When people make a claim that the media is biased, usually they are levelling an accusation against institutions which claim to be unbiased sources of news. These include broadcast news companies, cable news networks, local news channels, daily newspapers and general circulation news magazines. The complaints are against the straight news programs or articles generated by these institutions.

However, Anderson seems to be debating that biased commentators and opinion shapers are in fact biased. Well duh..."

Partisan leftwingers seem unable to separate news from editorial. In the media editorial has replaced news. Leftwing consumers appear to believe that leftwing editorial is how news is presented. Thus when right of center editorial is presented they seem to confuse it for news, and equate it with bias.
