"I heard a great segment on "the War on Christmas" through history on NPR."

Should have realized that O'Reilly couldn't have thought this up on his own.

I heard a great segment on "the War on Christmas" through history on NPR. Apparently, Henry Ford claimed the Jews had launched a "war on Christmas" in his anti-semetic screed, "The International Jew" in the 1930's. Later, the John Birch Society claimed that the communists had launched a "war on Christmas" in the '50's, So, O'Rielly's latest "war on Christmas" is really a re-run in it's third incarnation. But, it's new to the right-wing nuts and the ditto-heads, and it's worked twice before with the same demographic!

This putting the Christ back into Christmas campaign is offensive. Some church in San Antonio refuses to let it lie. They act as if Christians are the only people who occupy this country and everything should be their way. That's the same attitude the Aussies who rioted are generating. Its my way or the highway.
