Sonus’management adamtantly stated that its business with Cingular is strong, and there have been no discussions with, or indications from the carrier that it is looking to cease purchasing equipment from Sonus. According to Sonus’ management, the idea that interoperability between Sonus’ and Lucent’s gear is an issue, is “garbage”.

Flyonthewall.com needs to be prosecuted for its rumor mongering.

I've taken up a nice LTBH position in SONS. I think it can deliver in a big way. I can easily see it in the 7s or 8s by this time next year.

I like its style, quiet, business-like, competent, and perhaps even a tad too quiet in this hyped-up world.

the larger the portion of Sonus’ revenue stream will be recognized by annuity streams as opposed to one time gateway sales...

How is this a positive? It's basically incredibly sweet vendor financing: we'll give Earthlink (or whoever) the goodies for pennies on the dollar and hope the companies generate enough revenue to compensate us later.

To be honest, this smacks of desperation.
