Here's a scenario:

Some Diebold execs are indicted for fraud and insider trading.

They give up the Republicans in a plea or sentencing deal.

Wait til you see the results of this Iraqi dog and pony election. Which one of our CIA assets, who really works for Iran, is going to elected President or Prime Minister or Grand Poobah or whatever?

One thing Bush has accomplished is to build a new Shiite militant state next door to the chief Shiite militant state, Iran. I'm sure the the 90% of the Muslim world who are Sunnis are thrilled with that result.

Seymour Hersch has said there is some indication of a strong Israeli presence in Kurdistan. Another development the Sunnis will love. <G> Seymour is not ready to speak definitively on it yet. He's not like Hate Radio, where the right wingers claim every rumor as a slam dunk factoid.
