JCP, I don't give Rove any credit for our all volunteer military. It's a little tongue-in-cheek humor. Amy was wondering why Gen X doesn't protest like the "Make love not war" generation, and you brought up the fact that no one is drafted these days. Many liberals on this thread thought the draft was inevitable. Some also posted many articles claiming that the military isn't meeting their recruiting goals. Yet Bush has steadfastly refused to reinstate the draft. Must be political, a clever way to keep most Americans from protesting. Hence my Rove line. Tenchusatsu
