To: The Freep who wrote (127083 ) 12/15/2005 10:06:13 AM From: oexchaos Read Replies (3) | Respond to of 209892 Freep, I appreciate what you are trying to say, and I've been herding cats (running trading message boards) for 5 years now. Now, I may have a higher standard based upon my boards, but the manner in which I've been treated strongly suggested adolescence. If I was goading anything, it was a higher (and more adult) standard of behavior. I certainly apologize for being disruptive. And yes, you WERE catching a whiff of testosterone. Now, to be clear, I didn't mean to insult everyone here at all, BUT it IS a fact that public message boards are chock full of poseurs. Also they're full of folks who are trying to find a holy grail, and even more full of folks who talk big, but don't really trade real money. Let's call a spade a spade, with no offence intended to the large number of folks who came to learn and to share. As to my "attitude of presumed superiority", let's not mince words--If I WASN'T better than most at this game, why would I bother to share what I do (besides narcissism)? And BTW, I'm not saying that there aren't better traders, investors, or analysts right here. I am saying that in no way am I obligated to tolerate disrespect from someone with no credentials and who appears (and ONLY appears) to be at best an inexperienced neophyte. Now, I should know better than to even respond to such nonsense, and maybe I shouldn't even offer our stuff unsolicited at all in a public forum, but frankly I was feeling magnanimous and I forgot that most forums are not like TT. If I bother to come back, I'll keep it to factual links and let folks do their own research if they have the energy. I'm not running off in a huff, but I do know what's next, which is a lot of patient exercise of good will toward respectable members of your community, and a bunch of defense against thoughtless or intellectually dishonest attacks and adhominem, and over all a buttload of posting of my work. I simply don't have time and energy these days. I already have credibility and I already do provide my work free of charge. Folks can find my current research and that of Arch Crawford, Harry Boxer, Gene Inger, Fari Hamzei, Mark Leibvit, Chris Carolon, Steve Todd, Tim Ord, and many others, at traders-talk in this open (no registration) forum:traders-talk.com Enjoy. I'll probably be back, but not to discuss anything, only to post material of value without much comment. Mark Young WallStSentiment.com
