It is all about oil.

I know Greenspan and others suggested that oil plays a much smaller role in influencing US GDP as before. To that I say BS.

We have hollowed out our manufacturing but it does not mean we do not consume the oil used overseas. Just think what China's oil demand would be if they are not making all those things for walmart.
