Sort of. Granted, you could convince yourself he didn't because they never turned up the file folder with AWOL stamped on the outside. There are those who are convinced that because it never surfaced, he served his whole tour and those gaps were just administrative goofs.


I guess his refusal to respond to questions re. this matter doesn't concern these people either. Apparently, they don't know what an arrogant, drunk, privileged president of Deke is like. Having met several, I believe Bush is capable of just about anything including his DUIs, vandalism and skipping out on the Guard.

..and there are those that are convinced that, as a Senator's son, he got his duty records filled in for him while he boozed it up elsewhere. It's really astounding that NO ONE remembers serving with the President of the United States, although they were supposedly serving at the same time!
