Finally read the manual and learned about the "channel setup" procedure. I now have three NBC high def. channels, so Conan is back in business :)

Oddly enough, sometimes the multiple channels have differing broadcasts.

I'm probably 25-30 miles away from the transmitter. Rabbit ears don't seem to cut it, but I don't know about a good indoor antenna. Will have to ponder my existence.

You know, it's days like this that I miss the frozen north. Just dump 6 inches of snow and be done with it! Instead, we are to be pooped upon.

A low pressure system over the gulf coast is spreading moisture into the region as it moves northeast. Cold air at the surface will combine with moisture from the low to produce a mix of winter precipitation beginning shortly and continuing this evening. Precipitation has begun as light snow and sleet. A dusting to less than an inch of accumulation is expected. By early afternoon, as warmer air aloft moves in, precipitation will change to freezing rain. Surface temperatures are expected to remain below freezing into mid afternoon, raising just above freezing by late afternoon hours. Accumulations from freezing rain are expected to be one to two tenths of an inch. Because of the very cold temperatures we have experienced recently, roads may continue to be icy into the evening hours.
