I was going to look into it but got side tracked. It was my understanding that condo converters were financing their purchases and subsequent rehab via a construction loan. For areas like SD that had a ton of these deals, I wonder what is happening to them now.

Younger borrowers may be stretched but I suspect a lot of parents are stretched also. We live in a have and have not society. Superficially, they all look the same. We may soon find out who are the haves and who are the have nots living in the same neighborhood.
