Yes it was. And there are some who remember him while in TANG. Where the memory gap comes in is at the Alabama unit. Bush, as a pilot transferring from a Texas unit would have been a bit of a novelty at that Alabama unit considering they don't fly. That would have tended to stick in the memory of at least some who met him there at the time. And with the additional details of time, there should have been several who remembered meeting him. There aren't.

Bush Sr. was a congressman at the time. What I meant was, if you'd worked with a person that later became President of the United States, I think you'd remember him! I can recall almost everyone I've ever worked with, and NONE have become President! I'm sure I'd recall someone who's as big an a-hole as the chimp, unless he just WASN'T THERE!
