We point out the cost of the Iraq war, coupled with the Bush tax cuts are bankrupting the country. We don't raise the issue that invading Iraq further destabilized the ME and that ALONE adds at least $10 to the price of EVERY barrel of oil. Since it's over and above the production costs, it's prue gravy for the producers. The largest producers are Arabs, many of whom support the jihaddis. Invading Iraq didn't "pay for itself", as Wolfowitz said it would. It has paid for the enemy, and then some. It pays for the enemy, and recruits the enemy. Every time we fill up, we fund the jihaddis.
