I read a comment attributed to former hedge fund guru Julian Robertson about the global economy collapsing. Someone cited it with great enthusiasm to prove his own point.

The fact that it was totally false and repeated by a partisan publication didn't deter him in his crusade.

Garbage in, garbage out. I have no particular views on the DDT issue except that anything that reduces malaria is probably an improvement. I just hate to see provacateur commentators use this crap to dramatize issues with irrelevant tangents.

I hope his denial is true. Although whether that individual made the statement is of minor relevance in the greater scheme of things.
