We will see what happens here if Europe raises rates again, and Japan moves away form ZIRP. That will demolish the carrytrades, and subject them to currency losses as the Yen and Euro rally back. The USD will soon lose the support of the tax break for corporations to bring cash home, just one more one trick pony that has been exhausted. Maybe we should call January GREBB month?
