I have never seen such a hoppin' an' a boppin' with the Googl-ites

actually google has made no statement. The articles I read were in Adweek, I posted one last night but that is all. There was almost NO reaction on the part of Google or its investors to this disrupting comment from msft.

Microsft isn't my favorite company, but otoh a perception of msft as a non-innovator hurts the whole industry. I think msft needs to come out with something on their own and quit reacting to Google. This comment about paying users to click is another reflex to google reaction, same with their release of msft virtual earth (with the WTCs intact because they were desperate to come out with something way too soon)- and most other web stuff.

If I were msft I'd focus on VoIP. There is an opening there. MSFT has the tools now to innovate, thats what they should do imho and quit whining.
