BJ, If you are talking about the average persons on welfare, they don't deserve to be fed. They sit on their butts, in their rocking chairs, on the front porch, and work on finding every possible way to rape the welfare system. They are a part of the generations that never looked for a job, will not work for a living, and have been coddled by the federal government for decades.

Too many of them are parasites.
