It seems like only yesterday that she was reaching her hands up to be picked up and held.

Man can I relate to that.

My fifth grader is already asking advice on how to ask
this girl he likes to the 5th grade dance.

He surprised me a bit when he can off the school bus all smiles
the other day.

I said "What's up?"

He said, "I asked her."

I said, "Yeah and what happened?!"

He said, "She smiled and said Probably."

"Probably" is a whole lot better than "No".

I was a bit nervous she'd shoot him down and stomp on his
ego with her designer snow boots...

Seeing my wife give him dancing lessons should be a hoot
to watch. I may have to video tape it just so he has it
to laugh about some day...
