Islamic fundamentalism cannot survive in a democracy. Too many people will figure out that their religious leaders are lying to them, and they'll have the power to toss them out.

No need to make the all-too-predictable comparison with Bush. There's no chance of America ever becoming a Christian fundamentalism, so don't kid yourself.
