I saw Brokaw on either the Daily Show or Colbert. He was pitching a show scheduled for Sunday about a National Guard group that went to Iraq. I thought it looked interesting and that some here might like to see it. Since I've given up on TV news, I've been a bit adrift but I have started taping Stewart and Colbert and they are a stitch, actually a couple of stitches. There was a funny bit the other night, can't recall which show, about the Christmas wars. O'Reilly was shown asserting that anyone who was offended by a "Merry Christmas" greeting must be an idiot or some such. Then a bit later O'Reilly was shown again answering a question about people getting offended by "Happy Holidays." O'Reilly was very animated as he insisted that it was appropriate to be offended by "Happy Holidays." LOL.
