Al, democracy is only a means to an end. If the vast majority of a society votes to kill off a minority of the population, obviously that would not be OK, but that would point to a problem with the ideology itself, not democracy. My belief is that most Muslims are ready to move their faith, their society, and their culture into a modern world, which is why democracy in the Middle East is a good thing. If they all thought the way the Iranian president thought, then democracy would be a bad thing, but I don't believe that's the case. Tenchusatsu
