My only statement is factual... and no one has provided any evidence that attempts to contradict it: Message 21973916 'Below the average' means exactly that: below the arithmetic average. (Incidentially, I was referring only to recoveries from recessions since WW II. Data is too conflicted / not precise enough before that to make comparisons with the modern era.) Of course, if the recovery continues unabated, we always have a chance that it will pull the numbers up.
