I read one time HItler's mom died and she was being attended to by a Jewish physician. But I'm sure any minority would have served the purpose to rally the majority... Reminds me of the way the rich minority are treated today.

Maurice, Buried in the 11 million figure is a huge number of gypsies. As a percentage of the population they were hit almost as hard as the Jews. Why did he hate Gypsies? Who knows - maybe one scared him as a kid. But since the Jews who survived were well educated and many became prominent in the US we know more about them. The other 5 million killed were a collection of Gypsies, Educated elite, communists and Jehova Witnesses (who must have tried to hand pamphlets to Hitler). Lets just be glad that we ended this insanity in 1945. Who knows how the ovens would have been used had he lasted another 5 years. The Jews were simply at the top of a very long and horrible list. I have no doubt that he would have eventually checked off jocular Kiwis if they had offended him in some way. John

hitler held personal beliefs with certainty that today all informed educated people hold as false to serious delusion. hitler held Jews were inferior sub humans, an infection and all Jewish success was only by their cunning and deception and theft of whatever from superior aryans. hitler preached Jews were evil and guilty at birth. hilter sold his bill of goods to the German People in majority. It made getting personal wealth taken from Jews a moral good. From my understanding of the psychology of Germans in WW II, the only rational debate is about how many millions is in the undercount of murdered Jews and others inconvenient to Nazis. Your other analogy of overcouts and the proffered analysis is ludicrous. No Nazis needed to cheat the numbers. Each person's carcas had real economic value. It makes more sense to undercount so as to help oneself to the real economic value. A certain weight of gold or diamonds or whatever was expected per thousand corpse or processed Jews. For example, industry had to pay for slave labor days. Uncounted was free for use and was labor for economic value.
