Maybe. But all of their philosophy derives from it.

Their philosophy may derive primarily from reason rather then empiricism, but that doesn't say much about what their actual philosophy is, or their specific ideas.

Defining the Austrian school of economics as people who "formulating of theories based on reasoning and the rejection of measurements" would be a very poor definition.

Personally I am more interested in their specific ideas about economics and about freedom than I am in the "meta ideas" about how you should develop your theories.
