Does this make you happy to think America will get it's ass whipped? One would think that you would want your adopted country to succeed?.

Yes I do want this country to succeed. And we should begin to aspire for success at the right place. We should begin at the President. He is a moron. He has not succeeded in achieving anything in life. Takes him almost 5 1/2 years to say he makes "mistakes". Lately, he has been out speaking to people and saying things which we knew all along such as the intelligence was faulty etc. etc.

Even John McCain trashed him yesterday with his legislation on Torture Tactics, which his buddy Cheney steadfastly fought for.

And yes indeed finally, this nation has taken a big first step towards progress under this President: the indictments of crook Libby and the waiting-in-the-wings indictment of crook Karl Rove.

BUSH: stop comparing Iraq to WWII and yourself to FDR.

Bushies need to stop pretending and lying that Iraq is some kind of conventional war with a visible enemy (who attacked us) and battle lines draw. It is not at all. Comparing Iraq to WWII is just plain dishonest. It's much more like Vietnam meets Mogadishu with a bunch of oil-hungry Texas corporations trying to get rich fast.

In fact much of the problem has been the juicy targets our troops and interests offer over there for wannabe terrorists, luring them from all over to take shots at us. And Bush's line "bring it on!" set the stage, as did the disgrace of Abu Graiab.

Bushies are dead wrong that occupations of foreign countries are OK to keep going and going and going. Now Iraq has its government, and most of the troops it needs, so let's start declaring victory and withdrawing. NOW not a year from now. Because John Murtha is right.

Once we start withdrawing, a lot of the tension will subside. A lot of the insurgents will go home and stop attacking.
