The forecasting company added that in 2000, less than 20 percent of tools sold were for 300-mm diameter wafers, and more than 95 percent of the installed base of equipment was geared to 200-mm diameter wafers. No kidding; he's talking about sales in 2007 which to me means orders in 2006 have to increase significantly to further support his 2008 forecast. One of those blurbs "entering the left ear and exiting the right ear" About a year ago the same guy predicted massive layoffs at equipment maker level.
