What is wrong with Mr. Earle's request to have a list of the donors? BTW,the tv ad against Earle is symptomatic of Republican mania for smear tactics and slander/scandal against folks who stand in their way which, far more often than not, is the wrong way......... .

Earle is doing the right thing and is very courageous. Even most Republicans in Texas secretly or not so secretly are very uncomfortable with Delay's arrogant all-out corruption. Someone needed to stop Delay, and Earle postponed his retirement to do just that. Delay has been running a dishonest TV ad in Texas claiming the only reason he's indicted is because he's a conservative. What a crock. He's the biggest crook in congress and everyone knows it. That ad is also a slur against Earle. Earle may be a democrat, but he's mainly an anti-corruption prosecutor. He's indicted 8 democrats and 4 republicans in the past so he's hardly a partisan. He need more like him. Be careful about defending guilty corrupt politicians. It's the wrong thing to do. It hurts the GOP. It hurts the entire country. Delay is singlehandedly responsible for costing taxpayers tens of billions in wasteful pork barrel spending. He's not to be trusted or ever invited back into power again. In fact, he deserves life in prison. Good to make an example out of him.
