Actually, we need a new Truth In Advertising Law which includes not only consumer ads but also political ads. It's an outrage that any smear campaign group can put on a TV ad which completely lies to potential voters. That really pollutes our democracy. Of course it's how Bushies win, but it stinks and ought to be illegal.

We would get rid of a few far left ads in the process, so it's not all aimed at the rightwing.
