Etch, exactly. More fabs, more equipment with faster
capability to produce wafers/chips. Consider that a chip
producer could build 3 - 12" fabs for the cost of 1 - 18" fab
on a cost adjusted basis,
and have multiple production streams with a different product mix operating simultaneously.
I'd rather see volume equipment production, it would be better
for the equipment vendors and investors, IMO.

Hi etch,

If 200-300 results in 225 % more chips and with process changes you get 275% more chips what would the process changes due to yield and chip count on the next 450mm wafers.

Would only work for foundries,Intel,Ti and Samsung?

Must be huge demand for the chips off that size of a wafer ?
