I also have trouble with the waltz as well as the two step. It has something to do with my brain not being able to position my feet in a rhythmic pattern. My brother, who works in a pulp mill and doesn't have a college degree like I do, is a fine ballroom dancer. My mother had a trained voice and once considered professional opera until she met my Dad. None of her four offspring inherited musical talent, just the love of music. Mothers can't do everything.
