Time to declare victory and start bringing the troops home.
If Bushies can agree on that then we're all in agreement. Time to make Iraqis fend for themselves and give our troops a break. Give the tax-payers a break too.

Bush is about to ask for another 100 billion. All on the national credit card. Enough is enough.

As Novak said and I repeat, Ask Bush that question. He should know the answer since he and Cheney have kept up a chant that the terrorists are coming to take over Iraq after the US leaves.

Most Iraqis definitely want the US to leave, except those Iraqis making money off US taxpayers, and there are many of those. I fear that the main reason Bushies will drag their heels about leaving Iraq is that THEY are making too much money off US taxpayers there as well. Too much money being made by too many people associated with the Bushies and Iraqi leadership. Particularly Halliburton which means Cheney's inner circle. So this could drag out for long after it should be over.

If this election is successful, then Bushies no longer have any excuses for not re-deploying as Kerry has suggested, though maybe not as fast as Murtha suggested.
