If the Dems get into power next year Bush will be out.

One can only hope - but the general publics opinion of Congress in is pretty low whether they're Republicans or Democrats so it is hard to tell how things will play out in the mid term elections. There's still time for some serious spin and jive, and Rove is still on the payroll (instead of out on bail.)

But there is every interest on the part of the Right Wing backers of Bush to prevent the kind of independent inquiry that a return to bipartisan government could bring, and they'll pull a lot of dirty tricks to prevent this sorely needed house cleaning from taking place.

Does Cheney get thrown out with the rubber duck?
I think Cheney should be thrown out first.
Otherwise he gets into a position to pardon everyone and their dog.
