Yes, I verify the image each time I make one. Takes about 5 minutes for Acronis to check and make sure (I guess) that it is properly constructed and usable. I have restored images many times and only had it fail when it turned out to be a hardware problem (ram). Fixed the ram problem and the restore went perfectly.
