I didn't say that the ad was necessarily illegal. That is your strawman. Umm, you do understand what a "strawman argument" is? Oops, my bad, assuming you actually understand something...

Ok, let me try to explain this using words of one syllable.

Earle is trying(sorry lns) to see if the ad is being(damn) paid for by some of those who have been involved(oops) with DeLay's(can't help that one) cash schemes. Since it looks as if Earle is following(sorry) DeLay's(ouch) links to kick backs on mil. contracts(damn), finding(oops) a link helps his case.
