Is that through Direct TV?

It's Direcway - same technology but I don't know how they are related.
Once or twice during winter with very heavy rain I had (temporary) trouble with dish;
I'm not sure if snow showers would be a problem.

Since using the dish (6 weeks or so) I had to power down modem twice - after "rebooting" everything back to normal. Modem stays on all time.
E-mail service was out once for half a day or so.
There's no dish icon on right lower corner that displays connection status/transfer rate.
There is way to check it (you have to link into system control center which displays status).
I don't have a comparision to cable but downloading MS ServicePack 2 via dial up is just a nightmare - even updating some Norton updates via dial up can be a nightmare.
