Bushies are dead wrong and un-American to point a finger at patriots for peace like Sheehan and condemn them, then point another finger at a Bush-can-do-no-wrong patriots and praise them. Also wrong to keep using the troops as stage props. As if all troops support Bush's far rightwing steps and mis-steps in Iraq or anywhere else.

Similarly, they were wrong to condemn John Kerry's peacemaking in 1971, and defend the atrocious Vietnam War by that time when it was way out of control. Sometimes peacemaking is the right thing to do and Jesus said "bless the peacemaker" not "bless the profiteering warmongers".

There are patriots of many kinds. But one thing DEms and Repubs should all agree on is that the often dishonest divisiveness and politicization of this adminstration has gone too far.

On Face The Nation today both Dem and Repub senatore agreed that Bush is over-stepping the law and trying to put himself above the law, at the same time attempting to condemn anyone who criticizes him fopr breaking the law. That is outrageous.

This is a dishonest imperial presidency and God bless lone citizens like Cindy Sheehan for helping to expose them as such. Bush doesn't really care about the troops or their families or the Katrina victims or anyone else. He cares about his own inner circle of cronies, their money and power. If you believe any different, you're a real sucker.
