Switzerland has long had unattended 24-hour petrol stations.

Most pumps accept only 5 SFR coins, Euros need not apply.

The Swiss believe credit cards are only for those who cannot afford to pay cash -- aa well as certain peculiar foreign people.

Incidentally, I'm not aware of any nation, other than the U.S., where credit card users are given cash rebates.

In most nations, credit cards cost the user an annual fee of $50 or so without cash rebates. On the other hand, banks charge merchants less for each transaction.
