I have loved gnomes since I saw The Full Monty, but we have none. Most of our neighbors have very nice taste even without the rules. WEll, except for the giant blowup Santa and Frosty in our neighbor's yard. I am always surprised when I hear people whining about a restriction that suddenly affects them. What did they think would happen? They chose to live with these powermad HA types. That's the problem, as I see it. We always think it's going to be the other guy from whom we are protected, never dreaming it could be US they come after.
