But who is supposedly coming for even the communists rather than all the others? Or the equivalent of the communists in today's conflict, radical fundamentalist Islamic believers? What they are coming after is terrorists and their supporters. That doesn't mean that everything that can be done in that effort, or even everything that has been done, is ok or acceptable. However I think those particular lines suggest something much beyond anything that has happened or that seems at all likely to happen. The communists, socialists, Jews, ect. mentioned in that statement wound up as slave labor, or in death camps. Whatever your feelings are about Gitmo its hardly the same. Gitmo isn't a death camp or a slave labor camp, and we are not rounding up large sections of our population (or even small sections really) and sending them there. Gitmo is more like the Allied POW camps in WWII than it is like Auschwitz. Even the Americans in WWII went further than we are going now, we rounded up Japanese Americans and put them in to camps (which were again nothing like Auschwitz, but it was still wrong to do so). Tim
